GOLDEN HOUR POLICIES

To maintain our highest standards and practices, these policies will apply to every service provided by Golden Hour Catering. Deposits are due within 24 hours of booking a service. The deposit covers the event date hold as well as any planning and menu preparation for the event. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. Complete balances are to be paid 10 days prior to the event*. Payments made less than 10 days before the event will incur a daily fee of $15 to the remaining balance. Prior payments will be forfeited if full balance is not paid within 48 hours of event date.
*full balance to be paid if event is scheduled in < 10 days.

CANCELLATIONS

In the circumstance that an event or order is to be cancelled and rescheduled, a 15% fee will be included and due at the time of rebooking or along with the remaining balance. There will be a 30-day grace period for rescheduling. Any events exceeding the grace period or not scheduled will incur a 20% of total balance due. Failure of payments mentioned above will result in legal actions.

NO REFUND POLICY

We get it, life happens. We are all human and mistakes happen. In the event that your experience is not as you expected, we are more than willing to remake your order or choose another item(s) of equal or lesser value. We strive to make sure that each event is as successful and pleasurable as possible, with constant communication to prevent any misfortunes from occurring. Under extenuating circumstances, cash refunds will be instant, and credit/debit will be refunded within 30-60 days. Refund requests within 48 hours of event will be partial.

ADDITIONAL FEES

Golden Hour Catering reserves the right to add applicable taxes or fees due to inconvenience (cancellations, reschedules, late booking*). Additional fees will be included, but not limited to: extra persons for fixed meal specials, food item upgrades, and extra service upgrades.
* 48 hours or less constitutes a rush order surcharge

Food products may contain the following ingredients subject to allergic reactions: 

- Gluten, Soy, Eggs, Wheat, Nuts, Milk

As safe as we will be to prevent contact with these allergens, cross contamination may occur.

Clients are responsible for informing us during initial consultations and planning.

Costs for events are priced on a custom basis. Most events are significantly unique from one another, and we tailor each service to meet your event needs. Each quote reflects food costs, service fees, applicable taxes, and mileage. Based on the time of year, holiday surcharges may apply. We strive to source high quality products, meaning our prices reflect the sourcing of local ingredients and more.
